I am from Peru, which is where I started my career in teaching. For nearly five years I taught Spanish as a Second Language to American young adults who were preparing to serve Spanish-speaking missions in South America.
Additionally, I was a Spanish editor. Through producing and editing countless Spanish magazines, pamphlets, articles, interviews, and ads, I developed great attention to detail and excelled in the correct and elegant use of the Spanish language. I also worked as an Advertising Manager and Marketing Manager for several educational institutions.
Lately, I have worked as a Spanish Instructor for Language Bird in Los Angeles. During that time, I taught students and career professionals from the basic, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish. Currently, I'm working as a Latin American Culture and Spanish Instructor for the U.S. Air Force, and also as a Spanish Tutor (Conversational Spanish in Riverside County).
I am an instructor who is professional, flexible, easy-going, patient, friendly, and very interested in my students' progress.
