I teach general and business English, but have over 8 years’ experience working as a corporate trainer, coach, and mentor in various different industries. I love being able to use all this experience to help make the learning process fun and enjoyable!

I recently returned to the UK after living in Thailand for over 4 years, and am dreaming of my next adventure. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to work on various projects all over the world. I enjoying being able to learn from different experiences.

I am passionate, kind and patient. I have a very neutral accent that is easy to understand, and I can help you with your own pronunciation skills. With over 10 years’ experience in corporate environments, I have worked with people from different countries, backgrounds, and experience levels. I know that no two students are the same.
I have taught people of all ages and levels, and have worked with people on all sorts of different aspects of language. I always enjoy getting to know my students, to help ensure that I fully understand their needs and to be able to provide customised, interesting, lessons. I love a good chat, and find that 'just talking' is often so much more than it seems :-)
I like to focus on building fluency and confidence first, then working to improve accuracy and efficiency. I like to keep lessons relaxed, interesting and engaging, but this always works best when we are both actively engaged in the process. I like to use the first session to get to know my student, including understanding their current English level and where they would like to get to.
I believe that people learn best when they are learning about something interesting and relevant to themselves, and with this in mind we may study a variety of topics and themes to suit certain requirements or goals. I am also happy to review materials you may have which relate to your needs and goals.
