Hello I am Rajaa and I am 23 years old. I am a native English speaker from Sydney, Australia :-D. I have two years experience in teaching English as a second language at various organisations. I am becoming a qualified ESL teacher and am currently enrolled in Certificate IV in TESOL. I have strong skills in teaching English as a second language whilst respecting everyone no matter where you come from!
I have had many non native english speakers tell me "You should become a teacher" before I realised my passion. I thank those people for giving me this advice because I have helped many people progress with their English skills.
My teaching style is to encourage conversation and help you improve your pronunciation, so that you can become more confident when you speak and interact with others. I like to choose topics that you can relate to and also depending on your age.
Everyone learns differently so I am happy to accommodate to which learning style you prefer. I personally like to have speaking sessions where we engage in a conversational style approach to learning. This keeps it fun and easy going for you.
I am currently teaching new migrants in Australia at Greenacre Anglican Church where we run conversational style sessions with the students. It is a fun and easy going environment. I encourage students to speak even if they are afraid and so students quickly become comfortable in the class as I let them know that I am learning from them too.
